88s Yuasa prismatic cells monitored by Mitsubishi BMU. Battery-Emulator transmits wake frames and bridges telemetry to inverter.
Pioneer EV pack shared across Mitsubishi i-MiEV, Citroën C-Zero, and Peugeot iOn. 88s GS Yuasa LEV50 cells (or 80s LEV50N from 2013). Operating voltage range 316.0–369.6 V*. Low weight (165 kg) and narrow voltage window make it very reliable with compatible 350V inverters.
Early 2009–2012 LEV50 cells suffer calendar degradation in hot environments; 2013+ models with LEV50N cells have significantly improved lifespan; verify 88s vs 80s variant before commissioning.
